Came across these two whilst walking on the beach in Oman.

I have them as Kentish Pluver and Terek Sandpiper. No doubt way out again

  What swayed me to the Terek S is the slightly upturned bill.

Definite Greenshank - green legs and they have up-turned bills as well. Terek would have yellow/orange legs and yellow/orange base to bill.

   The beach had a large presence of Ospreys aswell. I had trouble with contrast but did manage an "OK" shot.

White Spectacled Bulbul around the hotel pools. Also a very fleeting glimpse of a Red Necked Nightjar. Dodgy shot taken as my camera/lens had no time to clear after leaving the ships a/c. could show, but its horrible. Sooty Tern sat all afternoon about 5 feet from me just preening itself. Ah, managed a good one of him
