Teesmouth Bird Club

All readers will be aware of Ted Parker's contribution to the production of the Club Newsletter and will realise that some changes will now be inevitable.

As far as the Profiles are concerned, Chris Brayshay has volunteered to write these so this feature will continue.  The 'Blast from the past' items were all written by Ted using his extensive personal records.  For this to continue, members' contributions will be needed, so If you have any memorable experiences then please consider writing an account of them.  One suggestion that has been made is a description of finding one of the earlier 'first for Cleveland' species.  However, it doesn't have to be about just about rare birds (and pencil sketches aren't necessary either!).

Finding new locations for the site guides section is becoming more difficult, but if you know of some good area then please do a write-up of it.  Just follow the format of the previous guides.

A new feature will be collection brief items of general interest such as snippets of news, bird facts and anything else to do with birds that would appeal to readers.  All contributions will be welcome, as will any longer articles.

All the Club news articles will of course continue.
