Present on the main lake though very wary and staying very distant from the bank and not coming to food thrown out for the ducks.

A couple of digiscoped efforts from this afternoon.

When it could bother itself to wake up!

It was coming a little closer this morning to about half way across but never hanging around for long.

Both legs and feet seen clearly today. Definitely not ringed.

It's been back again on and off through this week including yesterday and this morning.

It was hanging around with some Tufted Ducks this morning giving some very good views every now and again when they came close to the benches to feed on bread and peanuts.

Taken on the 12th.
Good to see It in sunlight and coming fairly close to the waters edge. It tends to follow the tufties when they come close in to feed. Also shows some of the colour variations, depending how the light catches It.

Good tip from IanF, to take some seed and nuts to get the tufties to the edge and hopefully the RN will follow.
