Sorry reading the sightings posts this has seemed to have turned into a forum about photography and hence the problem with photographers turning up to watch birds with their cameras and not Binoculars,went birdwatching today without either and saw plenty of birds around Charlton's pond Billingham including a lot of Bullfinches within 10 feet of me .

Not sure the sightings page is to blame as Ian, our resident camera guru, quickly moves it to the forum and answers everyones queries with a great amount of patience and expertise. It is nice to see that the site is used by all those who enjoy birds, my previous post was just a gentle reminder to a small minority that in these conditions especially, the birds must come first.
