Understandably, the locations of nest sites of Goshawk and Honey Buzzard are sensitive matters and all such information is handled on a " need to know" basis, on principle. This knowledge is presently forwarded to schedule forestry operations in areas of woodlands on the south of the North Yorks Moors. Cath Bashford, ecologist for the F C, is the confidential recipient of breeding or suspected breeding and it it is her responsibility to relay details to the managers of operations to schedule their activities as appropriate. Cath has a similar responsibility for F C woods in our area and welcomes information should it exist, from here too.
