Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if someone can help me. I'm a little unsure of exactly where Greenabella Marsh is. I've had a good read of the directions and a had a look on Google Maps and I believe I have it but just wondered if someone could confirm for me?

The co-ordinates I have:

54.620145, -1.208659

On a side note, it might be a benefit to give the co-ordinates on the SiteGuide pages.

Thanks,

Jack

Ok so not too many reply's, however I think I've found it - by comparing google maps with the instructions I believe it's here:

Still would like some clarification if at all possible  :)

You got it! The marsh on the north side of the Creek is what is known as Greenabella Marsh for bird watching purposes. The south side has the path between the fences wooden leading down to Tidal Pools, Seal Sands Hide and the Long Drag.

Only permitted access is down the side of the Creek and along the sea wall/bund a couple of hundred metres as far as the wooden hide facing the marsh.

Many thanks IanF, not sure if the admins are about but it would be great to have these on the Site Guide pages.

Just a reminder that all submissions to the site guide are welcome in a similar format to the ones published.

It might be useful to remark that there is an access to the north side of Greenabella Marsh and Huntsman Tioxide Works. You have to check in / out at the site office off the main road. Having done that you follow the footpath north and parallel to the road to where it turns east along the north edge of the perimeter fence and just keep walking towards the embankment at the edge of Seal Sands along the path. Return by the same route and check out

No permit required- just sign in and out, stay on path or board wark, comply with any site rules. The hide on the embankment is open.
