Teesmouth Bird Club

Had very brief views of this bird today just east of the main road and north of Greatham Creek, managed one poor photo. Single call as it popped up recalled Mipit. It almost immediately dropped into grassland and I couldn't relocate it. Not much of a super but bar this looks like a Water Pipit?

I'd go Water Pipit - in my experience the super is not as pronounced on some birds as others.  If you bring up the Bird Guides Online photos and browse through a load of them, many are identical to your bird.  And don't your legs look dark?

Thanks Steve. It was a bit far for leg colour but they do look paler than typical Rock. Leg colour on Rockits, especially youngsters, seems pretty variable though.
